Ridgeview is a community mental health center and hospital that provides a full array of services to adults, children and youth in Anderson, Campbell, Morgan, Roane and Scott counties.  Ridgeview has an immediate need for the following positions:

C&Y Case Manager - Full Time (Roane/ Morgan): This position is responsible for directing and coordinating services to children, adolescents, and their families.  It is a client- and family-centered, goal-directed position that identifies the family’s needs and assists in securing needed services.  This position requires working directly with children and adolescents from birth through age 18 and their families, school systems, court systems, Department of Children’s Services and other community providers.  A Bachelor’s degree is required in an accepted mental health field (i.e. counseling, nursing, occupational therapy, psychology, social work, vocational rehabilitation, and special education).  Experience working with children, adolescents, and their families in a mental health setting is also required.  Must maintain a valid Tennessee driver’s license and safe driving record.

CHI Facilitator (Regional) - Full time (Oak Ridge): This position works in conjunction with the TDMH Office of Housing Planning and Development; conducts educational and technical assistance outreach meetings with community planners in order to promote permanent housing options and supportive services for persons with mental illness and co-occurring disorders and to prevent or end the rising incidence of homelessness in the region. A Master’s degree in social services or related field with three years verifiable housing, grant writing and/or mental health experience; the ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects; willingness to travel regularly within a 16-county East Tennessee region (based in Oak Ridge, Tennessee). A Bachelor’s degree with exceptional work experience will be considered.

Facilities Manager - Full Time (Oak Ridge): The Facility Manager’s  responsibilities include supervision of Maintenance, Safety, and Grounds maintenance; oversight of contracted housekeeping services; vehicle insurance and maintenance policies; property leases and contracts; meeting JCAHO requirements for the Environment of Care/Statement of Conditions and Life Safety Code; conducting annual inspections, coordinating construction and renovation projects; communication systems; space planning; licensure requirements; and assuring compliance with all state, federal and regulatory requirements as they pertain to Ridgeview’s facilities.  The incumbent will be on-call 24/7 for emergency facility problems. Bachelor’s degree in facility management, safety, or a related field required, with course work centered in Business Administration.  Five years facility management and/or safety experience; preference given to individuals whose experience is in a healthcare facility; knowledge of JCAHO, Life Safety Code/Statement of Conditions, OSHA, and facility licensure standards; knowledge of facility-specific fire sprinkler, in-line detectors, and fire alarm signaling devices and monitoring systems, general construction principles; ability to read blueprints preferred.

Housekeeper (Sundays Only) - PRN (Oak Ridge):  This position is a Sunday only PRN position and will serve as the primary housekeeper in the cleaning of Patient Care areas as well as some non-clinical areas of the facility.  Self-starter that can also work unsupervised required. May work on off-shifts or at our off-site facilities may be required.  The position will make sure the Clients, staff and visitors have a safe and clean environment. Documented training in healthcare housekeeping and knowledge in infection control preferred.

IMPACT Case Manager - Part Time (Oak Ridge):  This position is responsible for processing, directing, and coordinating services to consumers of mental health services.  It is a client-centered, goal-directed, and recovery-oriented method for identifying needs and securing services so that a full array of appropriate and necessary services and assistance in accordance with the individual's overall plan of service and current behavioral health standards.  Clients will be provided intensive case management services, including follow-through admissions, treatment, and discharge procedures for all targeted consumers. A Bachelor's degree in the social sciences; two years of professional experience working with in the fields of mental health and substance abuse; or an equivalent combination of education and experience equal to at least five years.  Good organization and time management; safe driving record required. Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday; must be able to speak and legibly write the English language in an understandable manner; must be able to cope with mental and emotional stress of the position.

Office Assistant - Full Time (Campbell County): This position is responsible for maintaining complete and accurate medical records at this location and for maintaining working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid guidelines and medical record policy to ensure that records meet standards and requirements.  Must have excellent communication skills and enjoy working with clients.  Must maintain working knowledge of data entry requirements to provide backup coverage for Office Coordinator as needs arise. Minimum high school graduate or equivalent, with skills in filing, data entry and customer service.  One to two years prior medical office/hospital experience required.  Must possess excellent organization and communication (written and verbal) skills; must complete work with a sense of urgency and a high degree of accuracy.  Must exercise discretion and handle confidential information appropriately.

Outpatient Therapist – Part Time (Campbell County):  This position is responsible for the provision of individual, couples and family work with clients of all ages from the community. The role allows for clinical growth and independence but also combines that with regular consultation among other clinical professionals. Rewards include a sense of accomplishment through assisting an underserved population as well as inclusion in a dedicated team of clinical professionals. This position requires a Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or counseling and eligibility for Tennessee certification or licensure.  The role requires the ability to work well within a team framework, as well as strong organizational and writing skills. Prior clinical experience in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment are a plus.

PSR Program Assistant/ Educational Specialist – Full Time (Anderson): This position is responsible for developing educational and supportive employment opportunities with persons with severe mental illness.  Must explore and develop social, occupational, leisure and living skills which will assist members in living independently in the community. A high school diploma or GED is required. Some college coursework or related experience is preferred. Valid Tennessee driver’s license and safe driving record required. Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday; must be able to speak and legibly write the English language in an understandable manner; must be able to cope with mental and emotional stress of the position. This position requires excellent communication skills, ability to lead Basic Ed Training and support groups; networking within the community in connection with Community Colleges, GED programs, and financial resources. This position requires computer skills to include basic Word, Excel, and ability to navigate the internet for resources. Must be able to lift, push, pull, and to move a minimum of 50 pounds and be able to assist in the evacuation of patients and/or other staff members.

Psychiatric Technician - PRN and/or Part-time (Oak Ridge): This position is primarily responsible for specific day-to-day functions, provides patient care interventions under the supervision of the registered nurse, and works with other members of the treatment team in maintaining a therapeutic environment. A High School diploma or GED is required; must demonstrate the ability to work effectively with individuals, groups, and other team members.  Must be able to be CPR and CPI certified.  Valid driver’s license is required. Also applicant must be able to work various shifts and weekends.

Registered Nurse (IPU) - 2 positions- Full time or PRN (Oak Ridge): This position is primarily responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care delivered to adult and geriatric patients on the inpatient unit.  The registered nurse, as the team leader on the evening shift, provides immediate direction to the other nursing team members. Must possess a degree or diploma from a college or an accredited school of nursing; possess a current license or permit issued by the Tennessee Board of Nursing; and demonstrate capacity to work effectively in a therapeutic relationship with individuals and groups.  A minimum of two years psychiatric nursing experience preferred. Applicant must be able to work evenings and some weekends. *Please specify desired hours; if applicable.

Residential Assistant - 2 positions - PRN or Full Time (Oak Ridge):  This position is primarily responsible for the supervision and safety of all residents in the home.  Duties include assisting and instructing residents in all aspects of daily living skills (i.e. personal hygiene, meal preparation and clean-up, household chores, money management, medication management, etc.) and documenting accordingly.  HS diploma or equivalent required; experience in residential facilities and/or mental health preferred.  Must have a valid Tennessee driver’s license, a safe driving record, and must be insurable on Ridgeview’s policy.  *Please specify desired hours; if applicable.

S.T.O.P. Recovery Specialist/Substance Abuse - Full Time (Scott County): This position will be primarily responsible for wrap-around service facilitation to program members in the Morgan County Region. Securing a full array of Alcohol and Drug/Co-occurring services, the Recovery Specialist promotes and maintains positive community referral practices with both drug courts and supervised probation staff, A/D group-work facilitation, Education: Relapse Prevention/Early Recovery Skills and State and Federal entitlement enrichment.  Requirements include:  Bachelor’s degree-Social Services. Recovery Specialist/Substance Abuse Counselor LADAC eligible preferred; good organization and time management skills; documented safe driving record and the ability to work independently while interacting within a multidisciplinary team environment.
