About
Ridgeview
Ridgeview is a private, not-for-profit community mental health
center, based in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Since its inception in 1957,
Ridgeview has expanded services to over 23 sites in a five-county geographic
area, including Anderson, Campbell, Morgan, Roane and Scott counties.
Ridgeview’s
range of programs and services provides
individualized care for adults, youth and children. Services are provided
through highly trained and caring professionals that include psychiatrists,
psychologists, registered nurses, social workers, licensed counselors,
substance abuse counselors and case managers who form teams to plan
comprehensive treatment to improve the quality of life of clients and promote
independence.
Acute
inpatient services for adults are provided
at Ridgeview’s Anderson County facility, located at 240 W. Tyrone Road, in Oak
Ridge.
Our Mission
Ridgeview
is committed to providing a high quality
regional system of services focused on the treatment of mental illness and
alcohol and drug related problems, prevention services, appropriate social
services, and support to individuals and families. We strive to improve the quality of life for the individuals we
serve.
Our
Governing Body
Ridgeview’s
governing body includes eleven community
volunteers who represent each of the counties served. The diverse range of backgrounds of these volunteers provides a
level of expertise from established advocacy groups, consumer groups, the
business community, clergy, the medical community, the A&D community,
social service agencies, and the scientific community.
